Journey #56 – Latvia
The first session happened at Draugiem Group’s office, one of the prominent supporters of the whole event. There were about 28 Draugiem employees who joined the session. I talked about how meditation will lead to better creativity and guided a short session. People were quite shy at the beginning. However, they asked a few more questions afterward. It was a good session. There was also a comment that a monk like me was just an ordinary person like everybody else.
Forty-four people joined the Mansards Center’s session. The audience was very much into meditation as it was not new and surprising to them. So, I can talk less about why they should meditate. After the meditation, some found visualization the most effortless technique. Some said that breathing helped them to understand the process. Some used all methods together. People could relax. Overall, people liked the session because they were engaged and asked many questions. The atmosphere of the place is appropriate for meditation.
